Hybrid or biogas is not so important

Edward Jobson, Environmental Director at Volvo Buses.
The new EU directive on public procurement of road transport is the environmental benefit of a very broad perspective linchpin. If there are hybrid buses, biogas buses or biodiesel is not most important. This was stated by Volvo Buses Environmental Edward Jobson in an opinion piece in our section of public opinion, below .
Edward Jobson takes in his article, the focus constantly changes in terms of environmental requirements on the buses, näsdtan once a year. First it was particle filters on diesel buses, then it was renewable fuels such as rapeseed oil and ethanol. A year later, the biogas produced had the highest priority, etc., writes Jobson.
How can it be that we constantly have new and in many ways a fundamentally different view of what is good for the environment? To focus constantly changes, instead of widening, which would be environmentally more logical? Prompts Edward Jobson and asks principals and other industry allowing themselves to be surprised.
