Swebus has won the tender for urban and rural transport in Nyköping and rural transport in Briefs. It is clear then Länstrafiken Södermanland has completed the procurement of services.

This contract is for a 6-year gross agreement with 67 buses. Of these, 11 buses and 56 rural buses.

Traffic will start in August next year. The contract may be renewed a maximum of 3 years. The order value amounts to 107.9 million per year, or about SEK 971 million for the entire period, including an option for three years.

The current contractor is Busslink. Even Bergkvarabuss participated in the tender. Busslink, who left the second lowest bidder was 3.6 percent over Swebus winning bid.

Swebus has recently had considerable success in mission Länstrafiken Mälardalen. Earlier this year, won one traffic Katrineholm Flen and Vingåker. In autumn, the company has also started a new traffic in Örebro.
