Finnish resmässan holds its own

The great Finnish resmässan Matka (= Journey) seems to stand your ground. The fair opened on Thursday for trade visitors, and although no public figures are public as of this writing, it was very crowded in the aisles at the show.
Among the visitors there were also a lot of Swedish bus people. The number of exhibitors was slightly more than last year, about 1200th The atmosphere was much more up on Matkas first fackdag, compared to Reiseliv in Oslo, who has great difficulty in attracting skilled people.
Audience-wise, fair resmässan the largest in Scandinavia, with some tens of thousands more visitors than TUR in Gothenburg.
The fair will run until Sunday 24 January.
